As a County Board Member, I will continue fighting for responsible budgeting, housing stability, public health, infrastructure improvements, and a county government that is transparent and responsive. Most importantly, I will not sit back while fear and instability disrupt our neighborhoods. County government has tools, resources, and influence—and I intend to use them.

Immigration enforcement may be federal, but the harm caused by ICE activity shows up right here in our neighborhoods. When families are afraid to go to work, take their kids to school, report crimes, or seek county services, our entire community suffers.
As a County Board Member, I support clear policies that keep DuPage County from being used as an extension of civil immigration enforcement. I support ICE-free county property, strong guidance that county resources are not used for civil deportation efforts, and partnerships that connect residents to legal resources and “Know Your Rights” information.
I’m also working to develop a program to support small business owners who have been financially impacted by reduced traffic and community disruption caused by ICE activity. Families and local businesses should not be punished by fear.
DuPage County residents deserve a government that treats taxpayer dollars with respect. I support budgeting that is disciplined, transparent, and focused on the services people actually rely on.
That also means pursuing fair, progressive solutions instead of leaning on regressive approaches that hit small businesses, working families, renters, and seniors on fixed incomes the hardest. We can protect essential services while demanding accountability and results from every department funded by the county.
DuPage County plays a critical role in mental health and public health, and access should not depend on language, transportation, or whether someone knows the right system to navigate.
I support expanding partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and healthcare providers to strengthen prevention, early intervention, crisis response, and treatment for mental health and substance use. That includes improving language access, reducing transportation barriers, and increasing public awareness so residents know where to go before a crisis becomes an emergency.
Public health is not optional. It is essential infrastructure for stable families and strong communities.
Housing stability is foundational. When families are one missed paycheck away from losing their home, it affects everything: health, education, safety, and long-term economic opportunity.
I support county programs that prevent homelessness, expand housing support services, and help residents stay housed. That includes support for seniors who want to remain in their homes, working families facing rising costs, and residents experiencing housing insecurity.
A housing-first approach is not only compassionate, it’s effective—and reduces long-term strain on emergency services.
Reliable infrastructure and transportation are about safety, access, and opportunity. District 6 residents deserve roads, bridges, and systems that are maintained properly—not ignored until they become emergencies.
I support targeted investments that improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, enhance pedestrian safety, and strengthen stormwater and flooding protections. I also support equitable transportation access so residents can get to work, school, medical appointments, and essential services.
Infrastructure should be built responsibly, with prevailing wage and fair labor standards that protect the workers doing the work.
County government should be easy to understand and accountable to the people it serves. I support stronger ethics rules, clear conflict-of-interest disclosures, and public access to information that shows how decisions are made and where money is going.
I believe the greatest way to create change is to be the change. I will lead with integrity, communicate clearly, and treat residents as partners—not spectators—in county government.
When government is transparent and ethical, trust grows—and services improve.
