With deep roots in DuPage County, she understands the everyday challenges residents face — from affordability and transportation to access to health services and safe, welcoming communities.
Melissa is the founder and CEO of Cool Party Balloons, Illinois’ leading retail and wholesale balloon distributor, which she built from the ground up starting in 2024 with no advertising budget. Before launching her business, she spent over 20 years in the corporate world leading marketing, strategy, and sales across the telecom, lottery, television media, and newspaper industries.
